How often will I see my therapist?

The frequency that you will see your therapist will depend on your treatment plan. Everybody has a unique treatment plan that will determine the frequency and type of therapy that is provided to you. Generally speaking, you should plan on seeing your therapist weekly or biweekly.

What can I expect during my therapy sessions?

Each therapy session is unique and tailored to your specific needs. Typically, during your first few sessions, you and your therapist will spend time discussing your personal goals for therapy as well as the experiences and challenges that have brought you to seek treatment. From there, you will gradually begin learning new skills and coping mechanisms designed to help you manage your symptoms and improve your overall well-being.
